Appeal after three men attack teenager in Bargoed

News | | Published: 10:47, Friday September 12th, 2014.

Police are appealing for information after a 17-year-old boy was attacked while he suffered a blackout.

The victim was walking along Park Drive, in Bargoed, when he felt dizzy and blacked out. While he was on the floor three men approached him and one punched him to the face.

A woman came to the help of the boy and the three ran off after the attack, which happened at around 7.30pm on Sunday September 7.

The teenager suffered a minor head injury, but police said he did not require hospital treatment.

Two of the attackers were wearing hooded jumpers, one black, one white, and the other was wearing shorts, a grey tank top and grey Vans trainers.

Police are keen to speak to the woman who came to the boy’s assistance, and anyone who may have information relating to who may have been responsible for the assault.

Any one with information can call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 644 07/09/14.
