A 16-year-old boy from Blackwood has been charged with the murder of Michael Lee Emmett.
Mr Emmett, 29, passed away on September 2, after he and another man were attacked on Bryn Road and Apollo Way in Blackwood on August 1.
The father of twins was stabbed during the attack.
The teen remains in police custody and is due to appear before Newport Magistrates’ Court on Monday September 29.
