An elderly man and woman were taken to hospital after a kitchen fire on Van Road, Caerphilly, last night, November 25.
Firefighters rescued two people, who were suffering from smoke inhalation, after being called to a kitchen fire at a mid-terraced house around 9.10pm.
Both were taken to the University of Wales Hospital Cardiff after paramedics, an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a doctor attended the scene.
