Staff, volunteers and young people at Cefn Hengoed Youth Centre were completely overwhelmed after receiving a cheque for £800 from Lynne, Ted and John Hobbs of Magnum Stores, Nisa, on Hengeod Avenue in Cefn Hengoed.
The money, raised by the local community will be used to secure the cooking project run in the youth club. It will also help pay for a graffiti project.
