A football club has organised a charity five-a-side tournament in memory of a local man killed last year.
Jake Sweeney, 26, of Abertridwr, died days after he was assaulted outside the Irish Tymes pub in Caerphilly town centre.
Dynamo Aber, the football team Jake played for, will host the charity tournament at Caerphilly RFC’s Virginia Park on August 2.
The event, which costs £35 per team to enter, will also include stalls, a barbecue and a raffle.
All proceeds will go to charity 2 Wish Upon a Star.
