Residents are being encouraged to give their feedback on council frontline public services by taking part in a short survey.

The council is seeking views on a range of frontline services including recycling and refuse collection, street cleansing, grounds and parks maintenance, civic amenity sites, road and pavement surfaces, street lighting and winter maintenance.

The survey must be completed by August 31 and can be completed online at www.caerphilly.gov.uk

Paper copies can be requested from PSADMIN@caerphilly.gov.uk or by calling 01443 873704.

He asked if the council will take any notice of complaints made on a survey. However, you make a good point, we both know they will not making his question a rhetorical statement.

I’ve just had to have the council around to deal with some issues and they were very helpful. Their hands were tied a bit but they did as much as they could and are coming back shortly for a follow up.
At the beginning of the year I emailed them at 09:30 to ask them to cut back a hedge on southern street so I could use the path to walk my daughter to school. At 09:05 the next morning they were there cutting it.

    Mustn’t grumble.
