A Welsh medium nursery in Oakdale has celebrated being given a £2,000 grant from the Gwent Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC).
Cylch Meithrin Cwm Derwen was given a share of £153,085 awarded by Gwent PCC Ian Johnston from his Partnership Fund.
The toddlers were joined by Dragons star Luc Jones and Maria Chapman from the PCC’s office to celebrate their award.
The Partnership Fund is funded by the proceeds of crime awarded to the police and from the sale of unclaimed found property, including the proceeds of organised crime and cash seized from convicted drug dealers.
