A Caerphilly couple are celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary.

Norman and Christine Letheren have been married for 60 years today, July 30.

Norman, a former insurance manager, and Christine, who used to teach at St Helen’s School, have been active members of the community for decades.

They have both participated in various community groups, including the Round Table, Inner Wheel, 41 Club, Tangent, Rotary Club and PTAs.

Norman, who plays bowls for Islwyn, cares for Christine at home as she suffers with dementia.

All at Caerphilly Observer congratulate Mr and Mrs Letheren on 60 years of happy marriage and wish them many more.
