Canmol marketing awards open for entries

Business, News | | Published: 10:01, Friday July 31st, 2015.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing is seeking entries for its national Canmol Awards.

Prizes are on offer for companies and public sector participants who have achieved outstanding business results over the year through innovative marketing campaigns.

Roger Pride, Chair of CIM Wales Board, said: “The Canmol: Wales Marketing Awards presents us with an opportunity to celebrate the people and companies who have developed the most ground-breaking and successful marketing campaigns in Wales over the last year.

“Each year Welsh brands and businesses create innovative, fresh campaigns which show Wales to be a country bursting with talent, and a country at the cutting edge of the marketing industry. Canmol enables us to reward these individuals and teams, and I encourage any marketers – whether a sole trader, or a team from a multinational company – to enter their campaign.”

Canmol, meaning ‘to praise’ in Welsh, will be judged by Dr Jonathan Deacon, of the University of South Wales and member of the CIM Board of Trustees.

Entries must be submitted by July 31 at www.canmol.com with winners announced at a glittering awards dinner, to be held at St David’s Hotel and Spa in Cardiff on October 9.
