Police are appealing for information following two break-ins at the Ynys Hywel Farm in Cwmfelinfach.

The centre was broken into overnight between August 24 and 25 and again overnight between August 27 and 28.

Items stolen include Husqvarna chain saws, a Protrade Medusa generator, Husqvarna and Stihl trimmers.

Two off-road quad bikes, a black Kawasaki and a Yamaha, were also taken, although the Yamaha was later found near Machen Mountain car park.

Anyone with information can call 101 quoting log 58 28/08/15.

A previous version of this article wrongly stated that the break in was at Ynys Hywel Activity Centre.
