A cider made by a Crumlin-based brewer has won an award.
Hallets Real Cider is traditional Welsh cider crafted at Blaengawney Farm.
The drink was among the winners of Great British Food magazine’s Farm Produce Awards.
Top food writer Valentine Warner picked Hallets Real Cider as Britain’s best, saying:
“This one really stood out for me.
“It has a pleasantly dry mouth-feel, but with a delicate and lovely sweetness too. Very clean, subtle and shows much attention.”
