An Ystrad Mynach pensioner has had a beer created in his honour by Brains brewery.
Lou Krizan, 90, from Ystrad Mynach, was one of four lucky winners crowned as a Brains Real Welsh Legend earlier this year who had a beer, Welsh Legends, brewed in their honour.
The ex-miner was nominated by his family for his DIY skills and love of life.
The beer is a 4% amber ale with “light caramel and biscuit flavours” complimented with “citrus, fruit and floral flavours”.
It is available to buy from Brains pubs across Wales.
