Two Caerphilly-based companies have been shortlisted for the prestigious Canmol: Wales Marketing Awards, hosted annually by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Both the Nuaire Group and DS Smith Recycling have landed a place in the final, joining the shortlist of 22 campaigns from across Wales.

Winners will be announced on November 6 at a ceremony at Cardiff City Stadium.

Ventilation firm Nuaire, based on the Western Industrial Estate, is nominated for its DAVE campaign, promoting the company’s Dynamic Attenuated Ventilation EC technology.

Andy Mudie, Marketing Director at Nuaire, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be announced as a finalist for a Canmol award. The whole of the team behind the DAVE campaign are proud of the success the product has achieved. This award also highlights the fact good marketing makes you stand out from the crowd.

“We are especially pleased to be recognised locally and shortlisting means a lot to all at Nuaire.”

Dr Jonathan Deacon, of South Wales Business School at the University of South Wales, is the judging panel chair.

He said: “The level of talent in the industry is apparent from the quality featured in this year’s list of finalists. I congratulate all those who’ve made the list and look forward to rewarding them further come November.”

Nuaire seems to be going from strength to strength, I hope it doesn’t get to big for Caerphilly.
