Islwyn MP Chris Evans has been elected to join the Public Accounts Committee in the House of Commons.
He was elected to scrutinise how taxpayers’ money is spent and hold the government and civil service to account on the way it spends public money.
Mr Evans said: “I am honoured to have been elected to join the Public Accounts Committee to stand up for taxpayers and ensure that their money is being spent in the best way possible.”
I’ll save you some time mate. It’s been spent badly.
