Rhymney post office relocates to Ty Coch

News | | Published: 15:00, Monday November 2nd, 2015.

Residents in Rhymney will continue to have access to post office services after a local branch relocated to a shop.

The new service has opened in the Top Shop, in Ty Coch.

The Clabby Family and all the staff who own and run the Top Shop would like to thank all customers old and new who attended the official opening recently with special thanks to the Mayor, Cllr Leon Gardiner and local Cllr Carl Cuss, ward member for Twyn Carno.

Cllr Carl said: “I was pleased to join the Mayor to officially open the new post office at the Top Shop.

“They are well established and hold an excellent reputation locally. Keeping the post office franchise local is vitally important and I am thrilled that this service is still able to be provided in our local community, long may it continue.”
