A 55-year-old man was hospitalised with a fractured eye socket after being punched to the head in a Caerphilly town pub.
The assault happened at the King’s Arms pub at around 11.30pm on Saturday September 26 after rugby fans were celebrating Wales being England in the world cup.
A man was treated in hospital after being punched to the side of the head.
Gwent Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.
