Pupils from Tyn-y-Wern Primary School will research their own World War One project at the Winding House museum today, November 12.
The pupils will welcome visitors to the New Tredegar Museum as part of the Taking Over Day, where museums, galleries and arts organisations up and down Wales are being taken over by children and teenagers.
This will culminate in an exhibition to be displayed at the school and later the Winding House.
They will even be taking over the museum’s twitter account for the day and organisers are urging people to get involved both by visiting the museum and online.
The project is run by charity Kids in Museums and the Welsh Government.
