Cwmaber Junior School wins church choir contest

Cwmaber Junior School, in Abertridwr, came out on top in a school singing competition organised by the Rectorial Benefice of Eglwysilan and Caerphilly.

The competition was held on Friday, November 6, at Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni’s Caerphilly town campus.

Ria Joseph, head of Music and Drama at St Cenydd Community School, said: “As an adjudicator I was simply blown away with the standard of all of the performances.”
