A Cwmfelinfach manufacturer has won a prestigious regional industry award.

MöllerTech, which injection moulds components and assemblies for the automotive sector, has won the Business Efficiency Award at this year’s EEF/Aldermore Future Manufacturing Awards.

The company, which employs 406 staff, will now go on to compete for the UK title at an awards gala dinner in London in January next year.

Clayton Harding, MöllerTech Managing Director, said: “This award is down to our team’s hard work and dedication, and encapsulates the Spirit of Möller – ‘Made by People’.

“We are delighted to have won this award for the second year running. Not only does it demonstrate the valuable contribution made by local manufacturers like ourselves, but it also puts us on the map as a modern and innovative company. This is great news for us to share with all our members, customers and suppliers.

“It’s fantastic to get this far and now we’re looking forward to the national finals in January to see how we measure up against other leading manufacturers from across the UK.”

Carl D’Ammassa, Group Managing Director – Business Finance at Aldermore, added: “The quest for productivity and business efficiency plays a critical role in companies’ success – and manufacturers are leading the way. This award is justly deserved and Mollertech should be applauded for their efforts. We wish them the best of luck for the national finals.”
