BRITAIN’S NEXT TOP MODEL: Megan Brunell is hoping to wow TV judges

A 20-year-old “biker chick” from Blackwood is hoping to catch the eye of top TV judges on reality show Britain’s Next Top Model.

Fashion design student Megan Brunell is among 15 models taking part in the television show, which will hit our screens in January on Lifetime.

Each week Megan and her fellow models will complete a challenge before one is eliminated by a team of judges led by previous contestant and footballer’s wife Abbey Clancy.

The winner will land a lucrative modelling contract.

Megan currently lives with her mum in Blackwood.

The University of South Wales student has said modelling was a healing process following the death of her step-father.

Having to take care of him at 15 and watching his decline was the biggest challenge Megan said she had ever faced, leaving her physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted.

She says she wishes her step-dad could see her doing what she is doing now and she thinks he would be proud of her.
She believes she could be Britain’s Next Top Model because she is a tenacious person who is never shy in front of a camera.

• Britains’ Next Top Model begins in January on Lifetime – Sky channel 156; Virgin 208/209; BT 329 and TalkTalk 329.
