A 16-strong group from Ystrad Mynach’s New Cottage Dance Centre wowed the audience at the Royal Albert Hall last month.
The dancers performed a Latin dance routine set to a Michael Jackson medley. They were one of 22 worldwide acts selected to perform at the annual Dance Proms event in London.
Carol Perry, dance choreographer for New Cottage Dance Centre, said: “It’s great for the students to have this opportunity to see what their peers are up to.
“Performing in the finale, with all 450 dancers, was an experience they will cherish.”
