Caerphilly Council bin collection dates for Christmas 2015

Caerphilly County Borough Council has said its waste and recycling collection days will have two minor changes over Christmas and the new year.

Thursday December 24 – collection as normal
Friday December 25 – collection on Sunday December 27
Monday December 28 – collection as normal
Tuesday December 29 – collection as normal
Wednesday December 30 – collection as normal
Thursday December 31 – collection as normal
Friday January 1 – collection on Saturday January 2, 2016

Residents are reminded to put their bins, boxes and caddies out before 6am on the scheduled collection day.

Additional waste of up to two bags per household will be accepted during the holiday period.

Old Christmas trees can be taken to Household Waste Recycling Centres, while small amounts of cardboard can be placed into brown recycling bins.

Household Waste Recycling Centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Normal opening times for all other days are 9am until 4.30pm.
