A community resource centre has been reopened in Rhymney following an extensive refurbishment.
Hafod Deg Resource Centre, on High Street, was reopened by Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty Lesley Griffiths AM on Thursday, January 14.
The centre offers services from Citizen’s Advice Bureau, training and employment support provided by Communities First, LIFT, Communities for Work and the Job Centre, as well as community food growing projects.
Refurbishment of the building was paid for through a £1 million Welsh Government grant to Caerphilly County Borough Council from its Vibrant and Viable Places Tackling Poverty Fund.
