A 48-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were airlifted hospital yesterday, Tuesday, February 9, following a crash near Abertysswg.
The man was driving a brown Citroen Picasso when the car crashed at around 10am on the mountain road near to the Mountain Ash Inn, Abertysswg.
Gwent Police said no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The driver, who is from the Abertwssyg area was airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, and is said to be in a stable condition.
The passenger, a 25-year-old woman from the Abertwssyg area, was also airlifted to the same hospital and is in a critical condition.
