Sainsbury’s Pontllanfraith has donated its old Christmas decorations to Pentwynmawr Primary School and Ysgol Gymraeg Trelyn.

Store Manager Mr Rob Orton said: “We had lots of really nice comments about our decorations this year so I’m really pleased that we can give them a new lease of life next year by donating them to Pentwynmawr and Ysgol Gymraeg Trelyn.”

The supermarket also donated a supply of Mog Christmas books, written by children’s author Judith Kerr, which featured in a recent promotion.
