Showcase meet and greet for local volunteers

News | | Published: 15:00, Friday February 19th, 2016.

Residents are reminded to come along to One Beat – an event being held at Caerphilly town’s Twyn Community Centre and Caerphilly Library.

One Beat provides a chance for local voluntary organisations to meet with the public. The event is between 9.30am and 1pm on Saturday February 20.

Information and advice from a number of organisations will be available during the event, as well as the chance to discuss volunteering opportunities.

There will also be a number of activities on offer for children during the event. The free event is organised in partnership with Caerphilly County Borough Council and the Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations (GAVO).

The One Beat event offers an opportunity for organisations to join together and showcase the valuable work they carry out within Caerphilly county borough.

For more information contact GAVO on 01633 241550.
