Older people’s charity, Royal Voluntary Service has thanked Bedwas-based Peter’s Pies for supplying over 100 pies to older residents the charity supports in Caerphilly.
All users of the charity’s ‘Good Neighbours service’ were gifted a tin of Heinz soup as well as sausage rolls and pasties kindly donated by Peters Pies.
The Good Neighbours service pairs volunteers with older people in the area and aims to help older people stay independent.
Jennifer Rees, a Manager with Royal Voluntary Service, said: “It’s so nice for a local company to support a good cause. We are really grateful to Peters Pies for this kind donation.”
