Police warning after a spate of thefts in Caerphilly

News | | Published: 11:00, Monday April 18th, 2016.

Police are urging residents to be vigilant after a spate of break-ins in the Penyrheol, Energlyn and Hendredenny areas.

Break-ins have happened in recent weeks to properties in Heol Barri, Energlyn, Dunraven Court, Hendredenny, and Heol Aneurin, Penyrheol.

Items stolen include high-value mountain bikes, lawn mowers and two cars.

Caerphilly CSO Katrina Hadji-Aghalar said: I’m urging residents to always lock windows and doors even on sheds and garages.”

Yet more role model citizen scum going about their business. Instead of going to work for a living they prefer to go and steal other peoples property to make a living. People see this as acceptable now, as the court and legal system dish out pathetic sentencing such as a tap on the wrist, (got to be pc here) told not to do it again and do a couple of hours community work. Its a real joke in my view.

In the past few days we have had two senior citizens become victims of distraction burglaries, and now we see these spate of burglaries causing misery for other people. Its all very well the Police saying to people be vigilant, lock windows ETC, but what are people supposed to do if people catch someone in the act… Oh yes I Remember now, we need to say to them “Excuse me would you awfully mind waiting there while I call the Police” … yeah right…

Society has allowed this type of behaviour to become normal run of the mill stuff, which we all have to accept. Decent people have been let down by people in power who can change laws and make a change for the better and by idiotic do gooders who think they know better than everyone else and obviously live on a different planet by bleating, well there are no jobs, they have a poor background blah blah. It really is about time that the legal system got tough on these dregs of society and if/when caught put them in prison for a very long time, without parole, as a punishment, not a deterrent.

As Peter Hitchens puts it, the semi visible layer of authority from the policeman to the bus conductor to the park keepers have first been undermined then all but removed.
As a result of this “actual” crime and not just the “fear” of crime is now a part of our every day life.
Without a sea change in our national psyche and massive diversion of funds back to our communities from wherever they are syphoned, this dire situation will only get worse.
Forced diversity and moral bankruptcy has brought a lack of cohesion to an already fractured national psyche that readily filters down to the smaller towns. It may be to a lesser extent than the larger cities but the local effects aren’t getting smaller or going away.
Get used to it as there is no will amongst our elite to change it.
