Gwent Police is appealing for information to identify a man in connection with an assault on Cardiff Road, Caerphilly.
The incident took place outside the Courthouse pub at around 10.40pm on Saturday November 21, 2015.
A 34-year-old man from Lansbury Park suffered serious facial injuries and required hospital treatment at the time.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, and is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
