Caerphilly Round Table recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with a special dinner.
Sixty people attended the evening, hosted by founder member Hubert Jones.
Mr Jones spoke about the history of the charitable organisation, which he was inspired to set up after attending a meeting of Bargoed Round Table in 1965.
Attendants on the night paid tribute to members who had recently died.
Over the past fifty years, Caerphilly Round Table has raised between £30,000 and £40,000.
The proceeds from the dinner will go towards a trophy to be presented to young people for services to the community.
