Caerphilly County Borough Council has a number of recently renovated homes available to rent in Rhymney.

The homes, on Rowan Place, Rhymney, are being renovated with the help of a £4.2 million regeneration fund.

Improvements are being made both internally and externally to the houses, and residents are also being consulted on plans to transform the general appearance of the area, including new greenery and improved street lighting.

Homes available to rent are a mix of two bedroom ground and first-floor flats, which are available only to families with one child.

The properties are all owned by the council and have been fully refurbished. Each flat has its own private garden and is close to local transport links, shops and amenities.

The improvements are being made as part of the council’s Welsh Housing Quality Standard programme, which will see £200 million used to spruce up council houses throughout Caerphilly County Borough.

To find out more about the homes available to rent, or to arrange a viewing, call the council’s Upper Rhymney Valley Housing Office on 01443 873535 or by emailing urvaho@caerphilly.gov.uk.
