Cwmfelinfach Primary School has been praised by inspectors from education watchdog Estyn.

The school was rated as “excellent” for its current performance and its prospects for improvement.

The report also stated that nearly all pupils make exceptionally good progress as they move through the school and that nearly all pupils also develop and apply their literacy and numeracy skills highly effectively.

Dave Witchell, headteacher at Cwmfelinfach Primary School, said the school was delighted the hard work of staff and pupils had been recognised by education inspectors from Estyn: “The school would like to thank all of the pupils, parents, governors and members of the community for their commitment to this process.”
