Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Bargoed over the weekend.
On Sunday June 19, a 62-year-old man was walking along a lane near Park Crescent between 3.30pm and 4pm, when he was punched from behind, falling to the floor.
The attacker stole £200 from the man, who sustained wrist and facial injuries, which required hospital treatment. He has since been released.
The offender is described as being a white male wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper and Adidas jogging bottoms.
