Pupils at Cwm Ifor Primary School in Penyrheol held their own Race for Life recently to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
After running several laps of the school grounds, pupils were presented with their medals by Cllr John Bevan, Deputy Mayor of Caerphilly County Borough.
Children at the school have chosen Cancer Research UK as their charity for this current academic year and decided to put on their own smaller-scale Race for Life event.
This year’s main fundraising event is being held in Cardiff on July 17 at Bute Park.
