A 64-year-old man from Cwmcarn has been killed in a car crash.
The crash happened today, Friday, July 15, at around 4.30pm on the A467 between Bassaleg roundabout and Rogerstone, near Newport.
Gwent Police said the collision involved an Isuzu Pick-ip and a Vauxhall Astra convertible
The driver of the Astra, a 64-year-old man from Cwmcarn, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the pick -up are being treated at Newport’s Royal Gwent Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
