Businesses are being urged to enter this year’s Caerphilly Business Forum Awards.

Now in its 15th year, the awards ceremony will be held on November 18 at Bryn Meadows Hotel in Maesycwmmer.

Denise Lovering, Chair of Caerphilly Business Forum, said the awards are a great reminder of the powerful role Caerphilly has to play in the Capital City Region.

She said: “For the past 15 years, the Caerphilly Business Forum Awards have not only boosted the profile of individual organisations but also provided a showcase for the area’s top quality businesses. From start-ups to industrial firms at the heart of the Welsh economy, businesses here have so much to offer and this is their opportunity to gain recognition for their work.

“We’re delighted at the calibre of businesses that have already put themselves forward for the awards and hope many more do so before the closing date on the October 7.”

Her call for enterprises to enter this year’s competition was supported by 3D design company, Bomper Studio, 2015 winners of the Innovation Award.

Emlyn Davies, the studio’s Creative Director, said: “Being recognised for innovation in the Caerphilly Business Form Awards was a great accolade.

“I’d encourage local businesses to enter as it can help increase their visibility, especially for start-ups like us. Winning an award can help encourage business prospects and attract talent to the business.”

Firms of all sizes and sectors based in Caerphilly County Borough have until Friday October 7 to enter the awards.
