Open days to be held for refurbished council housing

Two open days are to be held for prospective council tenants to view new homes available to rent.

Homes currently ready to rent are a mix of two-bedroom ground and first-floor flats, each with their own private garden, in Rowan Place, Rhymney.

All of the flats have recently been refurbished by Caerphilly County Borough Council as part of a £4 million investment programme for the area.

The homes are only available to families with one child, but the council has said it welcomes applications from people not currently on its waiting list.

The open days will be held from 4pm to 5.30pm on Thursday, August 11 and Thursday, September 8.

For more information contact Kelsey Watkins, Communications and Tenant Engagement Officer, on 01443 864262 or by emailing watkiki1@caerphilly.gov.uk
