The contractor behind the refurbishment of 500 homes in Caerphilly town’s Lansbury Park has said it has brought 38 new jobs to the area.
Port Talbot-based Contract Services has completed work on the estate as part of an £18 million contract with Caerphilly Council to upgrade the local authority’s housing stock.
The firm has opened an office on Pontgwindy Road and will soon begin work on houses in Abertridwr.
The works are part of a wider £200m project by Caerphilly County Borough Council.
