Around 75 runners have raised more than £1,200 after running the 11 miles between Caerphilly and Cardiff castles.
Organised by running club Caerphilly Runners, the MegaRun Castle to Castle event was held on Sunday, September 4, in aid of Velindre Cancer Centre.
The runners set off from Crescent Road, Caerphilly, at around 10am, and headed off down the Taff Trail. All runners were finished in around two-and-half hours.
Event organiser Steve Sullivan said: “It was a great day with a fantastic atmosphere. For a lot of the runners this was the first time they’d attempted a run of this distance. They all did amazingly and helped a wonderful cause too.
“Money is still coming in but we look well on track to hit our £1,500 target.”
