Britpop band Ocean Colour Scene and Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley are getting ready for their two respective concerts at Caerphilly Castle this weekend.
In what will be the first gigs of their kind at the 13th Century Grade I listed castle, Ocean Colour Scene will be marking the 20th anniversary of the release of their Moseley Shoals album by performing it live on Saturday September 17.
On Sunday, Tony Hadley, front man of iconic British legends Spandau Ballet, will close the weekend of concerts within the inner walls of the castle.

I despair at the one particular DON’T – DO NOT BRING ANY FOOD AND DRINK WITH YOU. If you are wanting food and drink then there will be out of town bloodsucking greedy burger vans and drinks wagons brought in charging extortionate prices, any food and drink found on people will most likely be confiscated forcing those attending who have already paid a lot of money for a ticket to fork out even more for overpriced food and drink once inside the perimeter fence, a disgraceful way to treat people who are out enjoying themselves.
