A 43-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Caerphilly town centre on Thursday.
The 61-year-old victim of the attack remains in a stable condition at University Hospital Wales Cardiff.
Gwent Police said a 43-year-old man arrested after the attack has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon and is due to appear at Newport Magistrates’ Court this morning, Saturday September 17.
The attack happened on Thursday, September 15, at around 5.40pm on Cardiff Road near the bus stop opposite Sports Direct.
