Man charged after paving stone theft in Pontllanfraith

A 29-year-old man from Aberbargoed has been charged with stealing 50 paving stones from an address in Pontllanfraith.

The stones were stolen sometime between Tuesday September 20 and Wednesday September 21.

Two other people arrested in connection with the theft, a 41-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, both from Bargoed, were released without charge.

The 29-year-old man charged with the theft is due to appear before Cwmbran Magistrates’ Court on October 5.

    They would of charged him with more but they didn’t want him to take the fence.
