Why do people trash their own heritage? This is lovely church, I was most recently there, this year, for a funeral of a dear friend and although it was a very sad occassion the beauty of the building had a wonderfully calming effect.

I feel very sad that people can behave so idiotically to try and destroy beauty in their own community, as you can be pretty sure that locals inflicted the damage.
