An electrical services company has celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Ayjay Group Ltd, based on Bedwas House Industrial Estate, was formed as Ayjay Services by business partners Jason Beament and Andrew Hall.

Starting out from a small office, the company has grown to become one of Wales’ leading electrical contractors operating throughout the UK.

Working with many high profile brand names across a number of sectors, Ayjay Group has built a strong reputation in the electrical and facilities industry.

Beginning in 1996, the company has grown to include a third director, Simon Beament, who initially joined in 2002 and was made a director in 2008.

Jason Beament said: “We have worked consistently to a high standard, to proudly see our business continue to grow over the last 20 years.

“Our success is largely attributed to the fact that we are lucky to have an amazing team working with us, both engineers and office staff, who are willing to go the extra mile for our customers on a constant basis.

“A number of our engineers have been with us since our early beginnings, starting as apprentices, some achieving industry awards for excellence, and developing with us into first-class electrical engineers.

“We would like to thank all our employees, customers and business partners who have enabled us to build a great business – one with longevity and stability.”

The business is in the middle of a five-year growth plan, which has seen the company relocate to larger local premises and the purchase of another business, CB Refrigeration Ltd.

The company was bought by the directors to complement and strengthen its existing business portfolio.
