Police appeal as parrot stolen during Pengam break-in

Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Pengam, where money, electronics, and a pet parrot was stolen.

The seven-year-old African Grey parrot, named Rocky, was stolen during the burglary, which took place sometime between 10.30am and 4pm on Saturday October 29 at a house on Commercial Street, Pengam.

The bird has distinctive markings, with red feathers on its right leg.

Electronics were also stolen, including: A Playstation 3 (the older, larger model), a white iPhone 4, and a white Toshiba laptop.

A black safe and large plastic Stella money box, both containing money, were taken during the break-in.

Anyone with information relating to the incident can call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 318 of 29/10/2016.
