Three Caerphilly men have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
On Tuesday, November 15, police executed a warrant at an address on Ludlow Street, Caerphilly town. A quantity of class A drugs were found and seized from the property.
A 23-year-old man, a 35-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, all from the Caerphilly area, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. They are all currently in police custody.
A further drugs warrant was later executed at an address in Heol Graig Wen, Penyrheol. No arrests were made at the address but a quantity of class B drugs were seized from the property and enquiries are ongoing.
There are loads of people growing cannabis in Caerphilly you only have to walk around the town, you can smell it.
Or just walk through the shopping centre and people are openly smoking it in broad daylight.
The police have effectively decriminalised it by ignoring it.
