Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in a Bargoed pub.
At around 11.40pm on Saturday November 26, a 44-year-old man from the Aberbargoed area was punched in the head while he was in The Square Royale pub in Bargoed.
He also sustain a minor eye injury, and attended Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil over the weekend.
The attacker was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and a hat.
Gwent Police believes that there were several people in the pub at the time who likely witnessed the assault, and are asking for anyone who has any information on the incident to call 101 quoting log: 592 26/11/16.
