More than 100 pupils from two county borough schools took part in an interactive workshop aiming to encourage young people to see science as a future career.
Pupils from Caerphilly’s Plas-y-Felin Primary School and Penyrheol’s and Cwm Ifor Primary School heard from six young scientists and engineers, and took part in experiments exploring the force of gravity, light, space, and energy at the Who Wants To Be A Science Superhero road show.
Mark Jones, headteacher at Plas-y-Felin said: “We’re always looking for new ways to show our pupils just how fun science can be and this interactive workshop did not disappoint.”
