An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after she was hit by a car in Caerphilly town centre.
At around 11.48am on Thursday December 22, police were called to the bottom of Castle Street and Market Street in Caerphilly town.
An 84-year-old woman was hit by a Kia car, and subsequently taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport with leg injuries.
Market Street was closed for a short period.
