A stabbing which has left a 47-year-old man in a critical condition is being treated as attempted murder, Gwent Police has confirmed.
The attack happened at outside on the street in Mill Court, in Hafodyrynys, at around 3.45am on Tuesday, December 27. Police said the victim, from Pontypool, received stab wounds to the torso and is currently at Cardiff’s University Hospital of Wales.
Two men, aged 35 and 32, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and are in police custody.
